Party Goer...

Party rockers in the house tonight...

You can never have enough toy stories...

So long as they're stories that are told by the Lamp.  If you were lucky enough to see "Finding Nemo" in 3D then you saw the sweet short: "Partysaurus Rex," which played before it.  Well thanks to the Mouse for putting that short online for all to see.

It's wonderful to see these mini-tales that expand the characters we all grew up with.  Learning more about their lives, and how toys see the world is hysterically entertaining.  Looking forward to more of these over the years.

And there are more planned...

If anybody other tha Pixar made these shorts, people would be crying out "no originality! Cash grab!" Just to show that it all comes down to whether you like Steve Jobs or not. Personally, I would like to see original shorts from Pixar, and not these repackaged Disney-Direct-To-Videos.

Partysaurus Rex was a bulls eye! It was great to give Rex his own little starring role, and to see how we dealt with his timid style and coming out of his shell, especially at the end! I loved the bath toys "clubbin" in the bubble bath!

I busted a gut with the scene with the sinker toys and the floater toy that got stuck in the knob. When he lands and says "WHAT UP FISHES??" I lost it!!!

Very entertaining and very clever. Cant wait to see whats next!

Anonymous - It's not a cash grab if it's awesome. Rex is awesome. Also, I'm sure if you lived in the late 1930's, you would saying, "why is Disney making all these Mickey Mouse shorts? He should making more original shorts like the Silly Symphonies..."

Cash Grab. No Originality.

Look, it's an OK cartoon, but nothing special. And no doubt, it's only to sell toys (obviously the express purpose of these things). Let's face it. Until Toy Story 4 comes out, we're stuck with crap like this.

I agree, more ORIGINAL shorts from Pixar would be better.

Now I remember why I stopped reading this blog: it's the ridiculous claims of success when neither Disney or Pixar have even earned them. Also the fact that neither Pixar nor Disney can do wrong in Honor's eyes. which happens when you're wearing rose-coloured glasses.

Ok? So... why are you still reading it? Scram! Let those of us who enjoy his input read it without you.
