Zoetrope Imagination...

If you want to see something quite amazing, then go to the Animation building at DCA right now. There's a Zoetrope from the Pixar display at the MoMA there that will simply make your jaw drop.

What's a Zoetrope, you say?

Well, it's a machine that creates the illusion of movement or action with the use of inanimate objects or pictures. Now if that sounds rather boring... it's not. Take a look. And if you are in the area... take the time to go and see it. It truly is a site to see.

Here is a YouTube video of it if you'd like to have a looksie.

And here is a higher resolution QuickTime video of it.

That is soooo awesome! I hope they leave it up for a while so I can see it next time we are there!

Unfortunately, that entire building is overlooked by many guests. I highly encourage anyone who has never been inside the go in and check it out. I love the film showcase in the lobby. The entire complex is beautifully themed especially if you can find you way to the Sorcerer's Workshop. There are so many things to experience inside that building for kids and adults alike. It is a must see every time we visit Disneyland.

We saw the Zoetrope on our last visit, very cool.

The Zoetrope is the coolest thing I have ever seen! A must see. I must have seen it five or six times and wish I could see it again. DO NOT MISS THIS. Oh and Crush is pretty cool to, dude.
