The Quiet One Passes...

On this day, Thirty-nine years ago Roy O. Disney passed away at the sprightly age of 78 years young...

He was the shy one that didn't like to be on camera. Roy was the one that held the company financially together while his brother Walt dreamed.

And with his devotion, he helped him realize that dream...

Without Roy a lot of things Walt dreamed about wouldn't have become a reality. No Snow White, no Disneyland and no Florida Project! Indeed he was the silent one, but he was also the driving force behind his brother. We should never forgot that!

By the way, what is it with the Disney family and deaths in December? Walt, Roy O., Roy E...?

Okay, I know this his death is as infamous as any other decent Disney fellow, but I'm kind of getting tired of the memorials. I want to see some NEWS!

Then make some news, Darrell. It's the end of the year and not much is happening. You want Honor to fabricate news or report it when he gets it?

How about this, go see Tron Legacy again and find all the hidden mickeys.

Don't forget Lillian on December 16th, one day after the 31st anniversary of Walt's passing.

Walt had more than a brother in Roy. He had a steadfast friend and champion.

God bless, Roy.
