Disney Stirs Up A Storm...


Twenty years ago today, the "Maelstrom" attraction opens up at the Norway Pavilion of EPCOT in Walt Disney World...

I love this ride, and always liked the fact that some countries had a mini-ride hidden behind their restaurant/shops. I don't understand why some of them didn't place more emphasis on this. But more importantly, I hope Disney doesn't ever remove this or attach some kind of character-theme to it. I hope this post isn't trying to coyly infer something here...

Anyway, quick post, but good for some memories. Thanks!

Best attraction @ World Showcase. Why can't we have more like this?? You know.. Other than the current snoozefest outdated circle vision movies. And they wonder why kids dislike epcot...sigh
