Yo, ho, ho buckets of bootey...
The first trailer for Walt Disney Pictures' "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides" has been released...
So you won't have to wait till you see "Tron Legacy" this weekend to view it.
I smell the beginning of a new trilogy, or maybe that's just the rum...

Have just viewed it, it loks awesome. I'm in.
Alright. That movie looks freaking awesome. The first and the second were great, the third was good but lost the good feel of the previous films. (I have to admit the blooper reel is awesome though!) This fourth one looks like a comeback. Heck, I might just start anticipating this more than Cars 2...
This isn't new...this was shown at Comic Con this year :/
I saw Tron Legacy last weekend. Thankfully for free. Because if I knew what I was in for, I'd have stayed far, FAR away.
The film is a travesty. I have a soft spot for the original Tron, having been there on opening day to see it. But though I have fond memories, that doesn't make it a good movie. I thought the idea with the reboot was to make it better.
They didn't. Not only is the story a complete mess, but the visuals are confused, and confusing, and have little to nothing to do with supporting what tiny bit of story there is. And rarely does even the design work have anything to do with the film being set in a computer.
It has little imagination at all, beyond looking like a black-light Disney California Adventure for 2 hours.
The worst film I've seen all year.
Skip it and see True Grit or Black Swan instead.

No, only the front part was shown at Comic Con. Where Cap'n Jack is talking to the camera; the rest is actually from the film and new. When Comic Con happened last year this hadn't been filmed yet so that'd be impossible for them to have seen it. Search through the links here at Blue Sky and you'll find a link to that one.
Wow... Tron Legacy was that bad? I still want to see it, as it looks like there's a lot of cool action. When else are you going to see people throwing tires at each other, and if they get hit, vaporizing into nothingness?
I am NOT seeing Black Swan. I don't watch newer R-rated films in theaters anymore, if at all. I'm a little wary about True Grit, as it *is* a remake...
I am a huge fan of pirates. I also liked the second and third, but this looks better than them. Really can't wait!
trailer looks good.
all the reviews for tron seem to agree the visuals are top notch and the story is dirt. typical disney live-action big-budget film. not surprised at all.
I agree about a new POTC trilogy being imminent. Looks fantastic!
This looks a LOT better than the second one (couldn't stand it). If they have been able to make it as palatable as the first, I see success for it.
It's Tron week and BSD doesn't have Jack about it.
I'm sure he'll review it in two or three days...
It's hard to top the first Pirates, but this one looks really fun nonetheless. They made good use of the classic "He's a Pirate" theme in this trailer too. And does anyone notice the implicit sexual reference (Penelope Cruz says "How is it we can never meet without you pointing something at me?")?
Wow, Christopher, that was a good notice... I didn't notice it due to how subtle it is (in my opinion). Now it's kinda strange on why Jack, if he had a long history with Angelica (that's her name), then why would he have started going about with Elizabeth?
