How Healthy Is A Mouse?
Those of you that keep track of financials and such who are also fans of Disney might want to head over here sometime later today. Probably after 2 p.m. Pacific time when the market closes...
That's when the company's Annual Report is supposed to be put up for all eyes to see. We'll see.

The link's good. It just took them a while to get it up. Honor was right that they wouldn't release it before 2 p.m. because the markets wouldn't close in New York until then.
High School Musical on the cover? Yeeeck. That's what they put on the cover?

High School Musical is essentially a big bag of free money. The films cost so little and make so much that they're arguably the most profitable things going for Disney right now. Now, long term they won't be as profitable, but that's what they got Pixar, pirates, and their own animated films for.
For what it's worth, all the financial data in the annual report was released in October in the proxy statement that closed out the fiscal year for Disney. There is no new financial information in the annual report that would warrant waiting for financial markets to close. The only substantive information in the annual report that differs from previously released proxy statements are any forward looking comments by the company officers in their letters to shareholders.
A screenshot from THE PRINCESS AND THE FROG is on the last page of the report, in case you didn't know.
Congrats to Ratatouille for winning Best Animated Feature in the Golden Globes.
Love,
Your Mom.
ROFL! They didnt even mention UNDERDOG (unless I am mistaken). Looks like Disney realizes that cheesy talking dog movies suck (sorry BOLT!).
Yeah, that "Lady and the Tramp" movie really sucked, didn't it?
Well then it's a good thing that Bolt won't be cheesy.
Does anyone know if you can download the 2007 Report as a PDF file? I have all the previous years saved on my Mac, and would like to add the 2007 to my collection, but so far, all I could find was the online version from the link given in the 3rd comment on this page.
Thanks ;-)
