In Memorium: Jules Verne...
On this day...
One hundred and three years ago, Imagination fades a bit as French writer Jules Verne, the original "Steampunk" author and inspiration for many Disney films and attractions passes away in France.
Great minds leave behind trails... he leaves behind whole worlds.

If Disney had the rights to Mysterious Island, at the time, I wonder if they would have done a better job, and linked it to the Jules Verne trilogy of 20,000 Leagues, In Search Of The Castaways, and Mysterious Island?
That's what Mysterious Island at Tokyo DisneySea is (more or less) and it's pretty darn well done ;)
Im pace requiescat, The greatest author of our times. A true genius in scientific. May the legacy of Jules Verne live on!
I think he got much more than just imagination... it`s said Verne was a member of a secret society, he was a rebellious Illuminati.
