The Princess And Frog From An Apple...

Tomorrow the trailer for "The Princess and the Frog" should premiere and then shortly appear on Apple's trailer website...

Unless something unforeseen happens that is what will happen. Should that wish come true, you may find yourself giggly with Disney joy tomorrow night. It's a great trailer and it shows why we love classic hand-drawn Disney animation.

Forthcoming...

UPDATE: Get the YouTube version here.

That's really exciting! You hear anything about the new Pixar shorts studio in Vancouver?

Grr... why can't somebody "accidentally" let it on the website before hand?

Woah. I had no clue we'd see the trailer this early!

I wish they wouldn't do that. Trailers lose their appeal when they release them beforehand. You lose the excitement of having to wait for them in the cinema.

Or you could just not watch the trailer until it comes out in the cinema.

Wow...just...wow...I'm speechless. (Or typeless. Or something).

That was SPLENDID.

Whooooo! Cannot WAIT for this!!! All my fears have been laid to rest. The Princess...the Voodoo Doctor...the lush animation and backgrounds...the Princess (sex-ay)....oh please let the movie be as good as the trailer...because if so...CLASSIC DISNEY ANIMATION IS BACK!!!

Absolutely FANTASTIC! Looks like a true Disney classic. They've done it again, and will do it again for years to come.

Ron'n' John have done it again, this looks just fine. And this is without all the new Randy Newman music that we're getting too.

It's so nice to not see names all over the trailer, too... no "JACK BLACK... REESE WITHERSPOON... OWEN WILSON..." just... the movie! Novel idea.

I really like the trailer. There are naturally some bits I'm not sure about, but overall it's a lovely thing to watch.

As 22 yo straight male I am definately not target audience but who the f... cares!!! WooHoo!

Anybody notice the paddle boat. Looks like it was modeled exactly after the Mark Twain. That's pretty awesome.

Anonymous said...

Haha... modeled. Oooooh please, this is 2D there is no modeling! It's DRAWN!! FINALLY DRAWN AGAIN!

Although, I'm pretty sure that boat is CG and therefore is probably modeled.

Anonymous said...

Modeled isn't a word, solely used for CGI. Perhaps I should have said Based off. But that is besides the point. It looks insanely similar to the Twain.

I know how modeled isn't solely a word for CG. It was just setup for a "joke" about the ship still probably being CG. Sorry it didn't translate for you, or proably anyone else for that matter.

I'm working on The Princess and The Frog right now, I guarantee the boat is not CGI. The only computers being used ar for compositing and ink and paint. No 3D in this at all! :D
