Wow. Thanks for the heads-up on the thumbs ups Honor! Not that we should read too much into this kind of thing, but, did you notice toward the end that both guys squeeze in the much sought after line "one of the best films of the year?"
They spend too much time discussing whether kids would like it. How about discussing it as a movie, and not as a kids movie?
Hey.... Great review , I think the buzz for this is very high and it will do really well... as a sad not George Carlin Died... RIP man... He did a great job in cars ill be saddened not to hear him in cars 2
I just caught the end of the Roper show and it appears that they no linger use the Thumbs. Now, they recommend "See it", "Skip it" or "Rent it".
Don't know if I just missed the thumbs in the body of the show and they used the "- it" for the recap, or that's their new system.
The reason that they aren't using the "Thumbs Up" phrase is because it is copyrighted by Roger Ebert and he is in a business disput with the Mouse right now...
Until it's resolved they'll continue to use this method.
Really? What's going on between Ebert and Disney?
