Honor do you know something about this but just aren't telling us yet? And how do you even find things like this?! Is it a movie? Something on ABC?

Sorry... I promised not to say anything so you're gonna have to wait till March 10.

But it's geeky cool.

Tinker Bell has something to do with this thing?

My guess is that it is Pixar related because Pixar is 23 this year.

Pixar is also releasing its 10th feature film this year, that's a more important anniversary and I hope they'll do something special for it, but don't think it's related to this Disney23... who knows...

Nice guess about Pixar, but you're wrong...

They're remaking the Jim Carrey movie from two years ago? Oh, swell. (8% on the TomatoMeter.)

Pinocchio is being released on BluRay on March 10th. Perhaps 22 other films are being taken out of the vault and released on BluRay along with the ole wooden head. Or perhaps not.

Wait a second. 23? March 10th?

Isn't that the opening day of that Disney 23 store? The "Modern Disney Style Clothing" Store or whatever it was out in Burbank?

Is it a new Disney fan club?

Anonymous said...

I'm going with the new Disney fan club. But I don't understand why it's posted at the studios.

I work here at the studio and have talked to pals in Motion Pictures who don't take claim for it, and the Theme Park division also claims to not know anything. So it narrows it down to maybe Radio Disney, ABC TV, Disney Channel or maybe something Consumer oriented. I'll say this much after all the postings started going up about this, the majority of the posters here on the Burbank Studio lot were removed and replaced with normal posters for Film & TV projects.

Well March 10 is my birthday, I won't be 23 but I will be 46 so maybe i actually win something big.....

Pay attention to where this is being pushed. The poster is on the lot in Burbank and an image of it is on "The Hub", the company intra net site. Anywhere else? Something that they want to be pushed from the inside of the company out? Otherwise wouldn't there be posters in more public places? Interesting none the less. Reminds me of the trailer for Cloverfield when all they showed was 1/18/08.

Regarding posters in public places - there are also posters in the park...

Just an FYI, in addition to Burbank Studios, and "The Hub" it is also located outside the main turnstiles at the Magic Kingdom. I have no clue, I'll do some more digging at work Friday.

I have talked with high level VP and he said it involves the entire company and it is not a newspaper, movie, theme park, resort, clothing line, club, or anything like that.
