Wall-E Is Golden...

The magic of the Lamp continues...

Wall-E won the Golden Globe award for "Best Animated Film" tonight. Let's hope all this luck rubs off on the Mouse over the next few years, eh?

Congrats go out to Stanton, Lasseter and all those lucky bums in Emeryville!

Well deserved of course but the audience reaction was rather blank. Do they not understand the importance of this movie or do I appreciate Pixar too much?

I was boring!

Dusty, did you not notice the audience's reaction to every award other than Heath Ledger? They were all too drunk and busy chatting to notice that there was an awards ceremony going on.

Second thought you're right Kiersten. They were all pretty out of it even a few of the presenters had to call for their attention.

Wall-E winning best animated picture is no prize. It should be winning much more than that particular category.

It will be slighted at the Oscars because it's an animated film about a robot. Just like ET was just a sci-fi film about an alien.
