God of Thunder...
And Rock & Roll...
No sooner has concept art for 2011's Captain America been released than the God of Thunder's is revealed through the clouds...
And by clouds, I mean Cloud, as in the Internet. It looks like the same artist that worked on Marvel's other productions has rendered these pieces of Chris Hemsworth as the Marvel character in next years film. Go over to Collider and check them both out and in higher resolution.
Because nothing says Mighty Thor like higher resolution...

I've got to admit that I am not a big fan of this look. He should have more...authentic looking garb, not this weird, shiny stuff that's half a nod to his new look in the comics and half a nod to Star Trek: Next Generation.
I'm not a huge superhero fan, so take my comment with that in mind, but to me, that design looks a lot less silly than the Thor design seen in the Marvel books. I always thought Thor looked like a more buff Hagar the Horrible. Laughably lame. This design at least looks interesting, and does not inspire instant laughter (at least from me).
I think he should lose the cape. Why do super heroes have capes anyway?
