2012, Bring Me That Horizon...

Just in case you didn't see it...

Today Coming Soon has an interview with Uber-Producer Jerry Bruckheimer regarding upcoming movies for the Mouse(He is under contract to them, after all).

It the interview, JB as I like to call him, waxes on about The Lone Ranger, National Treasure 3 and a small production he's got going for 2012 about some pirates. It's short, but has some tidbits of interesting info about some films we all here at Blue Sky Disney are really looking forward to.

Also, a little birdie told me that the director for The Lone Ranger has been narrowed down and an announcement could come sooner than people think. We hope. I can't wait to read this script. I look forward to seeing the movie. I'll be watching CS for their reports from the POP set over the next few months...

Give it a read.

Era,

Perhaps you should explain your statement before you do either?

volcano joes, the title Long Ranger brings a lot of things in my mind...

...like an X-rated adult movie.

Am I the only one not interested in these upcoming films?

Another Pirates? Meh. I'm over pirates. National Treasure 3? I thought the first two were pretty awful films.

I appreciate the greatness that the Lone Ranger once was, but I just can't see how it will work in today's world.

Prince of Persia could turn out to be really fun though! Here's hoping that one becomes a gem.

Lone Ranger may not sound like much to today's audiences, but there was little interest in seeing another pirate movie before POTC came out. If Lone Ranger is done well, it could become an exciting property.

I reaaallly want another Pirates film, as long as it isn't the bloat mess that "At World's End" was.

I disagree with the above Anonymous.

I think that "At World's End" was pretty good and did a great job of wrapping up the original PotC film trilogy.

zorro and the Lone Ranger were the iconic figures at that time. I loved how they idd the movie Mask of zorro, so funny, adventurous and action filled. The same thing will be done for the Lone Ranger and I just can't wait for it because I love westerns and I can't wait to see Johnny Depp as Tonto, one of the funniest casting ever I think and he'll just be hilarious and quirky as always, great stuff. Pirates of the Caribbean 4 I'm really looking forward to seeing because I loved all of the movies and when I heard that only Barbossa and Jack Sparrow would only be in it, I was speechless, it was such great news to hear, I just can't wait to see what those two do on screen together, my tow most favorite characters in one movie, can life get any better? I saw the first two National Treasure movies and they were really well done, my mom loves them, how they do hisotry twists is really clever. They said the third one would be more national this time around, which is even better, seeing Nicholas Cage and a witty sidekick hop it over to Hong Kong or wherever, even Egypt, it'll be great. National treasure 3, The Lone Ranger, Pirates of the Caribbean 4, STar Trek, Terminator Salvation, The Rescuers 3, Oliver & Company 2, The Jungle Cruise, Transformers 2, Public Enemies, Angles and Demons, The Dark Knight 3, Iron man 2, a Coen Brother' western True Grit, could movies get any better selections than this?
