A Script Through The Looking Glass...

Those guys over at CC2K, aka: Cin City 2000 (the ones with the "TRON 2" script review) have gotten their hands on another Disney script. Tim Burton's "Alice in Wonderland" adaption/sequel.

Click here if you want to read it, but if you don't want spoilers then don't go too far down the rabbit hole.

A trailer, please. A trailer...

the article states:
"Even if it’s as boring as the script reads, at least it will look cool. Burton always guarantees that at least."

Need I say more.....

Sounds very interesting but having Helena Bonhom Carter in every single one of his movies is getting dull and predictable. "All show, no soul." What about Sweeney Todd, you know how difficult it is to pull something like that off, it's really hard and was a brilliantly made film. Burton at least has imagination with classics like Beetlejuice, Batman, Ed Wood, Edward Scissorhands, etc. Can we at least get one original movie this year, so far I've only seen one, and that was Up. Hollywood's run out of ideas which is just stupid, there are plenty of ideas out there, we just have uncreative people. When you want to make a Facebook movie or a Guitar Hero movie, that's uncreative, unoriginal, an act of desperation, and just goes to prove that Hollywood does not know what it's doing anymore.
