Walt Disney Pictures has announced the release date of Andrew Stanton's "A Princess of Mars" adaptation...
The Edgar Rice Burroughs novel will be the basis of Stanton's live-action debut, "John Carter of Mars" film.
Now we can all wait for the teaser...

No, the book it's based on is called Princess from Mars.
The film will be called John Carter of Mars, which actually is better since the film and book are both about him. The princess happens to be the love interest that he meets in the book.
