He did some good things for DIS. As a current TRB employee, this does have some appeal. That said, if he does come aboard, he better not let his ego create any more Michael Ovitz / Jeffrey Katzenberg-type fiascos again.
Eisner was fantastic for Disney, saving the company from ruin, giving it some of its old charm in a new way, and turning it into the world crushing monster it is today. Then things went wrong...
I still believe that had Eisner left Disney... oh... what, 10-15 years earlier than he did, that he would be seen as a huge savior instead of the evil he turned into.

Hey, the Los Angeles Times has been ran like a Mickey Mouse organization for years. He should be perfect.
