The Missing Link?

I wonder what this could be?

Hmmm...

I've always wondered why the Mouse hasn't had an official site with listings for all its animated films and other wonderful Web 2.0 things(clips, chronological order, info, ect.). What does John Lasseter have in mind?

Very, very interesting.

Good move. It'll be interesting to see what they count as part of "Walt Disney Animation Studios".

Will they count the films produced under "Feature Animation" and Walt Disney Productions. Also shorts..

I am actually (rather geekily :D) excited about this.. lol...

The Wikipedia site has pretty good information, but it's occasionally compromised when something like The Wild shows up in the Classics list. This is a terrific step.

You do find the most interesting stuff, Honor. So much so that lately I've been skipping Jim Hill and coming here. Thanks for the great link. I'm especially intrigued by Disney's "Shorts" list. Wouldn't it be great to see an announcement concerning a new Mickey Mouse short (along the lines of the classic "Runaway Brain") there someday?

Not only is the website classic and professional and wonderful...it really casts a new image for the studio to the public and animation community. The use of concept art from Bolt, pictures of artists drawing, and classic pencil sketches of the classic characters really show that John and company are trying to show that the studio is really going back to its roots.

Very smart move.
I like.

This is the best site I've seen at Disney in ages. Classic, true to the heritage, giving folks a peek at what's on the horizon...

This is WONDERFUL! Thank you for finding it--I've bookmarked this one now. Can't wait to see what they do next, and kudos to John for helping this talented group of people look like they are true heirs to the name "Disney."

I believe Walt would like this site. :)

Whoa, what a nice surprise, Honor! The site is especially well done...I agree, some great new Mickey Shorts, (like "Runaway Brain"), would be nice. Great weekend, Bob
