Mouse Reveals Frog Princess' Treasure...
If you visited the new Walt Disney Animation Studios website yesterday you got to see a real surprise(No, not that it had opened)...
If you clicked on their projects(here is the full size P and F concept art), Disney put out a bunch of "visual development" concept artwork for "The Princess and the Frog" that gives you an idea as to the breadth and scope of the story...
All artwork is copyright Disney for those that don't know, duh.

I'm smelling a big tie-in with New Orleans Square when the film comes out!
I don't think we need brain surgery to figure out that one.
I would have to agree...
The concept art here has a startling familiarity with regards to the old Herb Ryman concepts of NOS.
Exciting times for Disney!
A renaissance is coming...
princess & the frog dark ride is coming to NOS...
developing...
Disney's second renaissance is coming!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yes....... i cant wait... omg
In the parade scene the billboard reads Clements and Musker, and some smaller type.
Gorgeous! I can't get the site to load for me, so I appreciate that you posted the thumbnails. This film is going to amazing.
So happy - this looks hand-drawn. Please say it's so!

God I hope the animators have given up being formulaic, give us new poses, new facial and body gestures. What I'm trying to say is to have the characters act to what the characters are feeling, not drawing a sad face because the character is sad, give them some original personality dammit!!!
Oh and don't forget their lazy drawings, that lack dimension and form! They look to simple!!
Seeing the animation studio's website (never seen before) and those wonderful concept-arts it really feels like Disney is coming back with a new renaissance. I REALLY LOVE IT. Hope the story, characters, music, songs, voices and animation will be great too. Funny how some art feels like the concept art for the disney parks. It really feels like the victorian age, and it reaaly says New Orleans Square! Whoohoo Disney is coming back
Beautiful.
