Clone Wars Debuts...
Today the animated series "The Clone Wars" debuts on the Cartoon Network...
Let's hope that the series is a step above the theatrical release of this Lucasfilm project.
Although, I don't have much hope in "The Force" behind this project anymore. Time to sell? Time to let your baby leave the home, fly the coup? What do you think, George? Or do you even care?
As for the series?
May the Force be with it. Because I feel it's going to need it...

I have zero hope for this series. Without the brilliance of Genndy Tartakovsky behind it, and with too much of the structure and tone set by George "The Enemy of Fun" Lucas, this series will be souless and unpleasant where the original Tartakovsky Clone Wars series was fresh and gripping.
Boo, Lucas. Boo!
If you're looking for quality storytelling in Star Wars then I direct you toward The Force Unleashed. The game has several issues but the story it tells is awesome and is probably the best prequel story told so far.
