The animation on the pigeons is very appealing, but I don't see anything funny about this clip or any of the others I've seen. If there's anything studios have proven they can do over the past decade, it's smart alecky, humor, especially when a character has a New York accent. So what?! They've beaten that gag to death. Even if they do get a few laughts out of the audience, it'll take more than that to make a good movie. I'm hoping the rumors about this films "heart" are true, cause that's something I haven't seen in an animated feature for a good many years.
It just saw that this was given a "PG" rating for action and mild peril. I'm disappointed that it's not a "G" rating. Wall-E has plenty of action and peril and it still got a "G" rating. I hope Disney animation doesn't go the route of Dreamworks with regard to PG-rated animation.
It strikes me as a bit ironic that HSM 3 is rated "G" but "Bolt" and the talking chihuahua movie are both rated "PG".
Oh come on, these are a rip off of the Goodfeathers segment on Animaniacs. Take a look for yourself... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n24B-IhH5xg
If Disney really didn't want this comparison to be made, they could have easily changed the look of the birds, avoided the accent or had a different amount of birds. This looks more like an homage than an original idea.
The Goodfeathers were a parody of various Italian American stereotype actors, each bird a very specific actor. These pigeons in bolt merely have New York accents. Animaniacs never has to worry about being plagerized because they didn't ever do anything that wasn't a parody of something else.
I'm not sure how you want their look to be changed. They're pigeons from New York. Their coloring is that of pigeons (just do an image search), and they have New York accents. What more do you want.
I've watched several episodes of the Goodfeathers on Youtube and I still don't see a resemblance, other than the fact that they are both three pigeons from New York. Maybe Disney should have only used two?

I'm guessing you really like bolt. :-)
Looks pretty good. Better than any animated feature they've made since "Stitch"...
Not as good as the Second Golden Age, but we'll see when "Princess" and "Rapunzel" come out.
All in all, a dramatic improvement over the last decade, but room for improvement...
And that's just what I hear is coming. ;P
Pigeons...
Thanksgiving...
Connection...?
Yes, we're trying to save the turkeys this year, so instead of eating them, please try a nice, fat pigeon. They're delicious and taste like chicken!
This is a blatant ripoff of Animaniacs by Steven Speilberg
Hey, what do you expect pigeons in New York to sound like? Perhaps a southern drawl?

I suppose if by "blatant ripoff" you mean, "nothing alike," then I agree.
Also, I really love the animation on the pigeons. It's good, quick, and caricatured.

Why release the movie in theatres? It seems we can see most of it online before then.
"i punched the pigeon in the face...it's a recession get back on yo stoop!"
