Sparrow's Next Journey Has A Name...

That's the title of the fourth film in Walt Disney Pictures swashbuckling series...

Johnny Depp was apparently there as well as "The Bruck" too. Dick Cook announced that the official title of the next Cap'n Jack adventure is "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides."

Hmmm... interesting. Latino Review's El Guapo says there's a book by that name and it's about pirates. I wonder if it's an adaption of that story or just a coincidence?

Sailing into theaters in summer 2011...

That's a Stranger title than I expected... Exciting! But man I really hope Barbossa's back. Pintel and Ragetti, as well as Gibbs would be great to see again too. The rest, I could care less.

I HIGHLY doubt the title of the book and movie being the same is coincidence. Especially cause its a stupid title. I read the book description, and its about Blackbeard trying to get to the Fountain of Youth. Sounds fuckin awesome.

That would make for an interesting head-trip... Adapting a novel not only into film, but into a particular franchise to which the novel is entirely unrelated.

Oh well, here's hoping that taking a couple years' break and possibly adapting it from a set novel will make it better than the last two films.

I am a huge fan of Pirates, the attraction, the actors, the movies, they are actually my most favorite films ever made along with Indiana Jones, the story, the characters, everything, especially the environment, the world they create, the best movies are the ones that create a world you want to live in. Love the title!! Sounds great, I just can't wait to see my two most favorite characters, Jack and Barbossa dominate the screen for an entire movie, though I'll miss my other most favorite Davy Jones, a great villain with an iconic look as Darth Vader. Can't wait to see some new characters too, especially those pirate lords. I'd like to see Gore come back for this.
