Toy Story Posterland...

I heard that you Hockey Puck!

I'm a married Spud! I'm a married Spud!
News and suprises don't always happen at the D23 Expo, I guess...

Strangely enough, one of the things Jay didn't mention was that Paris is getting it's own Toy Story Playland (like HKDL in Asia). Now, the company has released several posters of the attractions. Alain over at Disney and More has some great pics of them, take a look.

The Disney world slowly changes, one attraction at a time...

I like the posters! Especially the "playland" one.

I hope the attractions turn out well and will bring even more atmosphere to WDS!

Sigh. I don't what it says about me, but one of my biggest regrets in my life is sure to be that I'm never gonna get to all the Disney theme parks. If I can hit any of the parks other than Disney World and Disneyland, I'll be surprised.

Sigh. Here's hoping I win the lottery. If I ever do, I'm going to Eurodisney! And Tokyo DisneySEA! And staying for weeks. And hitting every hotel at Disney World.

BTW, the description of the footage of Toy Story 3 shown at D23 sounds great. Seriously. May be one of the few series of movies where each successive movie was better than the previous one. Loved Toy Story, but Toy Story 2 was even better, and Toy Story 3? Sure sounds like.

That being said, I'm also thrilled they got John Morris, the kid who did Andy's voice in the first two movies, back to do Andy again. Very cool.

Hat tip to my friend at www.dlrptoday.com for breaking the news long before Alain did.

Great, this will fit nicely next to "Cinderella Fantasyland," "Lone Ranger Frontierland" and "Swiss Family Robinson Adventureland."

Sigh, Lasseter, you really don't get the parks do you? I had such high hopes.

@Mike: Lasseter just wants his movies to be in the parks, that's the only thing. Carsland could be just as nice without being TOTALLY based on Lasseters favorite movie (no, we're NOT doing sequels anymore...).

Oh well, I guess power does strange things to you...

^^ Would Lasseter have as much control over say Toy Story Lands in Paris and HK as you imply.

For that matter does he really have any control within WDI or park management. I think not. But I'm mostly just pondering.

Alas the Toy Story Lands are not very inspired. Carsland should be Route 66 with other automobile attractions. But hopefully there will be some good in both.
