Get Back! Get Back! Get Back to where you once belonged...
It seems I'm not the only one who loves those "Beatles Rockband Cinematics," I guess...
Over at The Monkey Puzzle, they've lamented about why they don't make an animated film in the style of the opening and closing cinematics done by Pete Candeland of Passion Pictures.
In case Robert Zemeckis is reading this (don't worry, I know he isn't), if you want to see how to make an entirely cool and amazingly unique Yellow Submarine, watch this. Please. It'll save many of us having to waste two hours of our lives with your nostalgia. I hope that someone or somehow suits and creatives get you to see it, because if I have to sit through some photo-realistic MoCap representation of the Fab Four from the 60's, I may just have to break all my old LPs. Wait, I don't have any LPs. Well, you get the idea.
I just hope Zemeckis does...

What? This is now a Beatles blog?
@Sgt. Pepper
Disney and Zemeckis will be making a Yellow Submarine remake...
What next? Super heroes? Oh, wait. What about horror films by Del Toro? Oh, wait again. Then what about.. wait, no. Is there anything Disney doesn't have its hands in?
Could be worse. Could be Blueskywalker.
Thanks for the post. Like Monkey Puzzle's art!! I'll agree with you on this- Passion Pictures has some wicked potential with this. Very well done.
How strange it is too, because I was never a Beatles fan. I only started just paying attention to them about a year ago when Yoko was working on an enviromental project that crossed our path. It's turning out to be a small world after all.
What's the matter Vader Hater? Going through withdraw from the lack of Star Wars stories lately?
Hehe...
