A New Yorker On Pandora With The King Of The World...
If you haven't read it, this article on James Cameron over at the New Yorker Magazine about the director and his incredibly expensive and ambitious new film is a must read...
It's twelve pages long, very detailed, engrossing and well written by Dana Goodyear. Great piece. Give it a glance, actually, read the whole thing.
Good stuff...

The cartoonish animation makes this film look like Cameron's Phantom Menace. Wheresa Jar Jar Binks?
Seeing it in a theater helps. Seeing it in 3D makes it better. Watching it on a 40 ft screen creates an entirely different atmosphere.
Looks shit.
Seeing it in a theatre definitely helps. Saw the trailer in IMAX 3D, which looked amazing. The online trailer does not do the imagery justice. The story might still suck but the film looks great.
