Just goes to show how out of touch with reality Lucas has become. If only Crystal Dud was even a fraction of the film that Raiders was...

Yeah, let's see:
20+ stories in the first week of March and he finally post an article about something with Lucas in it and he expresses how he doesn't trust Lucas' instincts so some of you say he hates Lucas. Sigh. He could go weeks and not say anything and you guys would be upset. Just because he doesn't lick George's boots doesn't mean he hates him. Heck, I don't think he hates Eisner. Now Pressler, that might be another matter.
But lighten up, people.
I hate what Lucas has done to Star Wars. He's still hooked on the gee-whiz technology available today and totally overlooks the importance of characters and story. I for one COULD NOT CARE LESS about Anakin Skywalker. He's gonna be Darth Vader! Why the frick should I care what he does prior to that transformation, especially since he's far far FAR more interesting as a villian than as the bland cardboard hero Lucas has crafted? I will never watch Lucas' SW stuff until he brings back Luke, Leia, Han and Chewbacca, even if it means more CGI. Until then he just go kiss a wookiee.
I am a huge fan of the whole Indiana series. I am excited to read the transcript. If anyone wants to give a bad review of the newer movies,(Indiana and Star Wars) I totally agree.
