A new poster for "The Princess and the Frog" is up...
The closer we get to this, the harder it is to wait for it. It looks great and if it's the hit I believe it is then we're in for a new Golden Age of Disney Animation.
If that happens we all benefit in oh, so many ways (hint: not just Disney films)...

Part of me really wants this film to do well. The other part is terrified of what might happen to New Orleans Square if it does.

I'm with PixarFanatic. I'm more interested in Astro Boy than this, and that's because of the 3-minute sneak peek I saw online before Disney yanked it off. Sugary, sappy, bland, meh. I wish 2D well, but Disney should have tried harder with the story IMO.

Interesting. I hope the film does well, but that poster is UGLY. It looks like bad airbrushed video covers of Disney films from the '80's--cheap and ugly.

The poster is hideous--looks like it was done by a first grader with a very cheap marketing degree. Why doesn't Disney let Pixar handle their marketing, too?
I've seen the film (yes the whole film), and it deserves better than this. It won't "save" hand drawn animation, but it'll give it some breathing room. The animation is mostly OK, but all of the characters move exactly the same, and don't have particularly appealing personalities. The story is good, though, even if the music is extremely pedestrian.
Honor, please read this, or acknowledge you did lol. Perhaps it'd be best to shut down comments for a while to let the trolls lose interest? Once they can't post for a bit they'll stop...
