A Full Plate...

Yummy...

Disneyland
has released a list of all the entertainment that will be offered at DCA over the summer...

It's quite a collection, between all the good entertainment that was there and the new or returning offerings. This park is a long way from where it was a decade ago. Imagine where it will be a decade from now.

And that's a good thing.

Wait - what's Instant Concert- Just Add Water? Are they making a sort of daytime show using the WoC fountains? Great Idea!

Yes, they will be using the fountains. It is a daytime show featuring goofy as the symphony conductor. Very funny.

Hours for DCA are 8am to 11pm June 16th onwards per Disneyland.com. June 15th only 9a to 11p. Still impressive nonetheless

I was so excited to see that the Mariachi Divas were playing when we were there a few weeks ago. We put off our original plans and stuck around DCA through lunch. We got a table and then wondered why they hadn't started playing on time. About 5 minutes later we noticed they were actually strolling around the dining area. We waited and watched as they moved 4-5 times but only the immediate area around the Cucamunga Grill. they never came anywhere near us and we never heard more than a faint sound of their music. My daughters and I were really disappointed. Why couldn't they be properly amplified for the entire dining area?

The Mariachi band stayed near the Mexican restaurant... I can see why that was confusing.

because small scale live music feels much less authentic when it's played over speakers, especially if it doesn't need it.

and wow - you were really disappointed that they were playing a hundred feet away from your table? ever heard of getting up and walking? sad to hear that your day was ruined because you're lazy.

Honor,
I have read your blog for years but I was shocked this morning when you stole my post from micechat I am lighttragic on micechat, the least you could do is give me a hat tip. I originally typed and posted this list on Friday June 8th and if you cited it correctly this schedule is only valid for opening day on June 15th not the entire summer. Give people credit Honor , don't become like other bloggers on the web. I am truly disappointed, the sad thing is you didnt even fix my grammatical errors

Indeed. But hey, sometimes lessons have to learned. Nobody's perfect. Even Walt himself tried events/attractions for Disneyland that ultimately failed.

By the the way, I just have to say that Radiator Springs Racers is fantastic. The interior ride experience alone is incredible. Its great to have a ride that is just as phenomenal as something that Tokyo Disney would get.

Sorry Lighttragic,

I'm the one that sent Honor the info. I forgot and deleted the header and he thought it was directly from me. It was unintentional and I didn't mean to not give you credit.

Hey Lighttragic,

If the information provided was from you then I apologize. It was sent to me by another loyal reader listing the offerings of Dizzys new entertainment. He didn't mention he got it from your post. I will put you in as a hat tip later today. No offense was intended, and I apologize for the confusion.
