Unlike some people on the Internet, I don't mind that Pixar does sequels. (or in this case a prequel).
At the end of the day, if its a good story, then I'm interested in seeing it. And besides the story, it can also be fun to see favorite characters involved with new adventures.

I usually don't care for prequels, but this is from Pixar and it looks interesting.

On that note, Disney should really make a sequel to "Bolt." And I'm apparently not the only one who thinks so. Several weeks ago, someone inquired about the idea of a sequel on the "Ask Dave" column on D23. It was a good, sweet movie that got good reviews. The film definitely still has a lot of fan love. (Besides, any film that John Lasseter is executive producing will be good)

Plus, Dreamworks has had tremendous success with its sequels to Kung Fu Panda and Madagascar. And of course Fox Studios with its Ice Age movies.

Seriously, people will to go to the theater and see these them, even if they don't necessarily have a good story. All it takes it airing an over-the-top ad to make a child say:
"Mommy, I want to see the funny animal with the clown Afro!"

Did anyone look at the critic reviews of "Brave" yet. Last I checked it's in the low 70s on rotten tomatoes. Not terrible, but not nearly as astronomically high as we're used to seeing from the lamp. Considering the dreadful Cars 2 and this, does anyone else think that Pixar's quality is waning a bit? Are Lassater's considerable talents and leadership abilities being spread too thin? Are they making too many films at one time? Any thoughts?

Man this looks funny, still a big Monsters Inc. fan. Looks like Pixar is making up for Cars 2.

I can't believe I only just heard about this. I loved Monsters Inc and have no problem with a prequel or sequel or whatever they want to call it.

Trailers look hilarious..
