Color On The World...
For those of you wanting to know more about DCA's "World of Color" show, here's a real treat...
Steve Davison (the big Guru over in Disney Entertainment) gave a presentation where he offered a lot (but not all) of the details about the spring 2010 water show.
Luckily, someone has recorded this in HD and posted it to YouTube. Go have a look:
Part One.
Part Two.
Part Three.
It's only a Spring away...
I believe the Hat Tip goes to AllEars.Net.

Oh yes that looks really good. I must admit I'm surprised.
There is an interesting mix of characters and movies featured by the looks of things.
Interesting to note is there seems to be quite a bit of Fantasia 2000 featured in the show.
Thanks for the heads up.
I'm totally overwhelmed
This is probably going to be the best nighttime show in Disney. I seriously can't wait for this
I already see myself crying there
also slipping in brand new characters such as Carl from Up and Facilier from PatF. Good news for those.
the new logo looks great too.
can't wait, this is going to be epic.
That was amazing. Whoa, it looks like DCA will finally have a must see attraction. WOC appears to be a fantastic show with cutting edge technology. I'm there. I just hope enough construction is done to let people know that this park is worthy of the "Disney" name finally.
i am love disney world of colour i just cant wait till spring .
does anyone know if this show will be shown more than once a evening? If Disney wants DCA to grow they need to expand the hours? as well as showtimes once a night will not do if only 9,000 fit how do the expect to grow to 30,000 people a day in the park
As of now the plans are for it to be one show. It'll be the last thing that happens in the park before it closes. A grand finale.
If they can manage it, I'm sure that later they would like to have a second showing, but that's not in the plans as of now. Logistics and demand will determine what happens to that, but that'll be a long, long way off.
Remember the first show doesn't even start till April/May of next year...
will the fountains so a much smaller daytime show?? I can see them doing a really short fountain show like in epcot. no lights or projections or anything, just some dancing fountains...that would be cool.
Looks like a bigger, better Fantasmic, which is pretty incredible as it is. But I agree with some of the comments on Youtube about the new version of the "World of Color" song. Yes, perhaps it needed a bit of updating...but good grief, that new version is awful! Does EVERYTHING have to be Hannah-Montana-ized now? I appreciate Hannah's success, don't get me wrong - it's a great show for teenyboppers (I'm past that age now myself, thank GAWD!!!)- but Disney is for ALL AGES. "World of Color" is a beautiful song and in the presentation it's being butchered. I sure hope to GOD Disney doesn't use it for the show!
