Go Watch Alice...
Tim Burton's vision of Charles Lutwidge Dodgson's world has been released...
If you want to see, then take a sip of that famous potion and travel down the rabbit hole.
Truly amazing. A wild collection of images that you would expect to come from Burton, but are still mesmerised by. Unlike the "A Christmas Carol" trailer which leaves me unimpressed and feeling like I'm watching video game footage, this appears to be something to look forward to. Later this year when a full trailer comes out for this I'll be so very, very happy. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm late, I'm late for a very important date!
Drink me/click me.
Coming sooner than you imagine...

I love the end of the trailer, with the rabbit tapping his watch. I'm not sure how I feel about Depp's makeup and hair, or the Chesire cats weird, super-cartoony look . . . but I'm still looking forward to this.
I've read some commentors saying it looks like it should be called "Johnny Depp's Mat Hatter Starring Johnny Depp", and I can see that. But I'm still looking forward to it tremendously.
Grotesque- and messmerizing. Everything I would expect from Tim Burton.
Let him make a film that is "sweet" looking on the imagery as well. Now THAT would surpriseme.

Nice. Just wish the video played better. Starting and stopping, the same old sad story. But thanks very much for the peek.
Looks very well done and the standard weird vision of Burton's. I really like the look of the Chesire Cat, but the only problem is that Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter is not the main character, he's a minor character, alas I should've realized Burton would do that, always using Johnny for a big role, can't even give him a small part.
Ughhhhhh...
Where is Ed Wynn when you need him....?!
Again...typical Burton-
seriousness and darkness for a children's story and movie.
Will open big and then word of mouth will spread that is sucks and be forgotten for the ages.
then the studio will give him another classic story to ruin.
I heard that Davy Crockett is next for him....
This is gonna be a Johnny Depp movie. All of a sudden the character's role will be inflated because of the actor. The movie will get those mixed results like Sleepy Hollow.
I love the look of Alice, but I have to agree with you on A Christmas Carol - I was under the impression it was a live action and I'm sad to find out that it isn't.
