Give Me A Villain...

Walt Disney Pictures confirmed via their Twitter page that Michael Sheen will indeed be playing a part in "Tron Legacy" next year. From all accounts it appears that he's playing the main villain in the film. So I guess you could say that he's this film's David Warner/Sark.

Still computing...

Is there an unwritten law somewhere that high tech villains must be of European descent?

It's a shame that David Warner will not be reprising his role as Dillinger/Sark. I'd love to see Sark get re-rezed. Ironically, word has it that David Warner is not fond of sci-fi, the genre he is best known for such memorable roles as Jack the Ripper in Time After Time, the Klingon Chancellor in Star Trek VI and Evil in Time Bandits along with Tron. I'd love to see Flynn's old nemesis try to mess with him.

David Warner should cameo. Be a commentor on how the whole boy-genius rep of Kevin Flynn is a "myth" on some talking-heads news show . . .
