1 And 2 In 3D...

They've finally released the "Toy Story" and "Toy Story 2" 3D trailer on the web at Yahoo Movies...

Although they're not in 3D, they're still pretty funny. And over the next year we're going to have a lot of publicity for this franchise till it culminates in the release of "Toy Story 3" next summer. This film is supposed to be the conclusion of these characters and their story. If Lasseter and company live up to their word, there won't be a film in this series with a four or anything after it. This will be it.

Awaiting the fall and everything after...

I don't love that they are going to be released at the same time. Originally, they were going to be released three or four months apart, starting in november. it is nice that they will be a month earlier though. any chance of an extension beyond two weeks?

I wish it wasn't a double feature. A little too long for the four year old, alas. Ah, well.

The human characters in these films look terrible, it what keeps me from watching them all the time.

Those surcharges for 3D, which adds nothing whatsoever to the film, add up. Cha-ching.

Perhaps theaters could improve/repair/maintain their conventional projection technology so films are shown the way they are meant to be shown, but you can't really tack on a silly surcharge for that...
