An Untitled Slate...

Walt Disney Pictures has announced the line up for its major animation studios...

The studio has given a list of the release dates of both the Mouse and the Lamp.  The five year plan for Walt Disney Animation Studios and Pixar Animation Studios was put out to lay claim to those weekends.  Now, only the dates were published, not the titles.  That will only come as we get closer to the release date, and those dates are subject to change.  Nothing is chiseled in stone:

2016

Untitled Walt Disney animated film 3/4/16 in 3D.

Untitled Pixar animated film 6/17/16 in 3 D.

Untitled Walt Disney animated film 11/23/16 in 3D.

2017

Untitled Pixar animated film 6/6/17 in 3D.

Untitled Pixar animated film 11/22/17 in 3D.

2018

Untitled Walt Disney animated film 3/9/18 in 3D.

Untitled Pixar animated film 6/15/18 in 3D.

Untitled Walt Disney animated film 11/21/18 in 3D.

Now all we have to do is let the stories unfold...

Are there any rumors about any of these films that you could add to this? Are any of these slots possibly taken up by some of the 'known' upcoming films or are all those set for release before 2016?

By Disney Animation films, does that include films from DisneyToon Studios?

Find it very interesting, both 2016 and 2018 include two Disney Animated Features, while none in 2017. My guess is at least one of these projects will be either moved up or pushed back.

I also have to say, it's been quite a few years since we've seen Disney release more the a single film in a calendar year.

These dates, and whatever films go along with them are sure to change. They always do. I'm interested to see that Mickey Mouse film they talked about. Hopefully, we'll finally get King of the Elves. And since Jack the Giant Slayer came and went without much impact, maybe WDAS will do their version.

And what about WDAS 2015?

Let's hope that one of the unannounced entries between 2016 and 2018 will be "The Stooge" starring Mickey Mouse & Roger Rabbit that Gary K. Wolf and company proposed to Disney and Pixar earlier this year.

All those movie titles sound BORING.

Can someone summarise the future releases from 2013 to 2015 first...
